No calorie chex mix

Ok, so thats a complete lie. But it makes you feel better when you eat it.

1 box corn chex
1/2 box rice chex
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup

In a large bowl mix both flavors of chex. Set aside. In a saucepan, melt butter completly, and then add sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. Pour over chex, and spread on wax paper to cool. Eat for lunch if you decide (not that I just did that...)

Smiley Face Crepes

Ok, so you don't have to make smiley faces. We just did that for our FHE treat. But it does make them taste better!

1 1/2 cups milk
3 egg yolks
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons melted butter
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended. Heat a small skillet on medium-high and spray with cooking spray. Pour in about 1/4 cup batter, and tip pan to spread batter to edges. When bubbles start forming, flip over and cook the other side.
Serve warm with favorite fruit, chocolate sauce, and/or whipped cream.

Easy Cheesy Fondue

1 1/4 cup vegetable broth
1 tsp. garlic, minced
4 oz. velveeta cheese
2 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups swiss cheese
1 tbs. cornstarch
pepper to taste

In a fondue pot or saucepan, heat vegetable broth and garlic on medium-low. Do not boil. Mix in half of the velveeta, and a handful of the other cheeses. Stir until completly melted. Add the rest of the velveeta and continue adding the rest of the cheese by small handfuls, mixing after each time to melt completly.

Once all the cheese has melted, stir in cornstarch and pepper. Sauce will be thin! But don't fret- heat for 1/2 hour, stiring every couple of minutes.

Serve with bread cubes, your favorite veggies, and crackers.

Popcorn balls

12 cups popped popcorn
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any flavor

Place popcorn in large bowl.
Mix syrup and sugar in saucepan; bring to boil. Boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Add gelatin; stir until dissolved.
Pour over popcorn; mix well. Cool about 5 minutes (texture will be weird if you don't). Shape into 18 balls, each about 3 inches in diameter, or larger if you would like.

So sinful, so delicious!

1 1/2 cups Jeremiah 6:20

"Resurrection Rolls"

I thought being the Easter season, these were pretty fitting. I haven't tried them, but my mom made them this year and says they taste just like a cinnamon roll!

roll dough or a can of crescent rolls
melted butter
cinnamon and sugar
large marshmallows

The marshmallow represents Christ. Dipping it in butter represents the oils used for his body. (Roll it in the cinnamon and sugar) Cinnamon and sugar represent the spices used. Wrap in roll dough, pinching closed. Put in pan and let rise and then bake according to your chosen bread recipe."He has risen!" (Once it is baked, the marshmallow will "disappear")

Amazing Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients

1 cup butter
1 cup corn syrup
2 cups brown sugar
1 can sweetend condensed milk
large bowlful popped popcorn

Melt butter, sugar, and corn syrup in a sauce pan. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 3 min. Take off heat and add sweetend condensed milk, mixing well. Pour over popcorn and toss until all the popcorn is coated. (you can add more popcorn at this point if you want to.) Eat immediately or store in a ziplock bag. This recipe will stay soft for 2-3 days.
