Aunt Nette's Corn Bread

1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
2/3 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. corn meal
1 tbs. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
3 tbs. butter, melted

Combine four, sugar, corn meal, baking powder and salt in med. bowl.
Combine milk, eggs, vegetable oil, and butter in small bowl: mix well. Add flour mixture: stir until blended. Pour into well greased 9x9 cake pan. Bake 375 degrees for 30-40 min.

Double recipe for large cake pan.
